Security and Infrastructure Specialist

Position Summary

The Security & Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for securing and supporting the organization's network, infrastructure, and cloud environments. This role focuses on cybersecurity operations, threat detection, incident response, risk management, and security administration while ensuring reliable day-to-day network and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct risk assessments and coordinate remediation efforts for infrastructure and application environments.
• Administer security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection, access controls, and cloud security tools.
• Support security initiatives across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Support network infrastructure, servers, backups, and enterprise systems.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex security and technical issues.
• Maintain security documentation and support audit and compliance activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of network, systems, or infrastructure administration experience.
• 2+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and network security.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and enterprise networking.
• Experience with firewalls, cloud security, endpoint security, and access management.
• Familiarity with VMware, Linux, Azure, AWS, SQL, SAN technologies, and Palo Alto or similar security platforms preferred.
