As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you are the behind-the-scenes hero ensuring our guests have a seamless, safe, and unforgettable stay. The Mission
Working under the Facilities Assistant Manager, you will be a key player in the upkeep of our resort. From repairing electromechanical systems to perfecting the finish on a guest room, your work directly impacts the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Artistry & Repair: Tackle everything from drywall and painting to tile, flooring, and trim carpentry.
- System Upkeep: Perform preventative maintenance on all facility systems to keep the hotel running smoothly 24/7/365.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Use your knowledge of plumbing, lighting, and electromechanical systems to solve complex challenges with precision.
- Safety First: Ensure every repair meets high-standard safety codes (ASTM, NEC, OSHA) to keep our guests and "Model Citizens" (staff) safe.
Who You Are
- Experienced: You have at least 2 years of facilities maintenance and repair experience.
- Skilled: You are comfortable with power tools, measuring devices, and perhaps even reading blueprints or schematics.
- Composed: You stay calm and rational under pressure or in emergency situations.
- Guest-Focused: You have a friendly, polite demeanor and a genuine love for creating FUN!
- Qualified: You hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) and are at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements & Working Environment
- Physical Agility: You'll frequently be walking, standing, or bending.
- Strength: Ability to lift and carry tools or materials ranging from 10 lbs up to 100 lbs (occasionally).
- Versatility: Comfortable working in various temperatures (from <15°F to >95°F) and occasionally in cramped spaces.
- Dexterity: Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and firm grasping.
