Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical care is sought for a position on the medical surgical floor in Gardner, Massachusetts. This role involves assessing and providing patient-centered nursing care, administering medications and IV therapies, and ensuring continuity of care through thorough documentation and communication. Job Details:

• Location: Gardner, Massachusetts, United States
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 32 hours per week
• Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current Massachusetts RN license; at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience preferred; 1 year of telemetry and pediatrics experience preferred; current BLS card, with ACLS certification obtained within 60 days of hire; PALS preferred.
• Responsibilities: Assess and reassess patient conditions, administer medications and intravenous therapies, interpret cardiac rhythms, document patient data accurately, provide patient and family education, and ensure safety protocols are followed. May set up or troubleshoot medical devices related to surgical care.
• Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate professional behavior, compassion, and a team-oriented approach. The role requires the ability to manage multiple patient care tasks efficiently and collaboratively.
