About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Early Childhood teacher to join our team and create a nurturing environment for our young learners.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, overseeing the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operations of the classroom.

They will need to possess a deep understanding of child development and be skilled in communication with both children and adults to meet the needs of our students, guide teaching assistants, and address parent concerns.

• Develop and implement educational curriculum by designing engaging classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.

Encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching, and plan individual and group activities to actively engage children and promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth.

• Maintain open and frequent communication with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.

Ensure the classroom environment meets all center policies and state regulations, including maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and safety and security standards.

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.

Lead by example and plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth.

• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Minimum of 1 years of professional child care experience.

Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.

• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. Will train
• Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE or State mandated non-credit course certificates for lead teacher position.
• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools.

• A strong understanding of child development.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
