Entry-Level Retread Tire Technician — Paid Training

Starting Pay $21.00 Hourly. Experience isn’t required for this position. We will train you in any skills required. Start your career with us today! About the Role As a member of our retread team, you will play a role in recapping, remolding, or extending the life of an existing tire to get it back on the road. Responsibilities Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread Buff the casing to remove any worn tread Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing Use rubber cement or a patch to repair the casing before applying new tread Build the tire by applying new tread Cur welln the tire to mold the retread application Conduct final inspection to assess a safe and quality product Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including medical, prescription drug, vision, dental plans and Wellness Program 401(k) with company matching with a 2% Match Life Insurance (100% Company Paid) 40 hours of vacation time in your first year and holidays Tuition Reimbursement up to $5,250 On-going Training and further career advancement opportunities Basic Requirements Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
