Step into a rewarding contract assignment supporting school communities by providing crucial behavioral services as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This opportunity covers a full-time schedule, with 35 hours per week from November 1st through January 31st, with the potential for extension. You’ll serve K-12 students, working with diverse teams and making a direct impact while a valued colleague is on maternity leave.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification is required
- Previous experience in a school setting, working with K-12 populations, preferred
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Proven ability to provide itinerant supervision and collaborate effectively across multiple campuses
- Adaptability, excellent communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver itinerant behavioral support and supervision throughout several school campuses
- Assess student needs, create and modify behavior intervention plans
- Train and guide staff, fostering fidelity in the implementation of ABA strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary, maintaining compliance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral expertise to multidisciplinary teams
