Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will:

  • Conduct initial assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and create tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families.

  • Lead therapy sessions that promote constructive dialogue, navigating complex emotional and psychological issues.

  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy while addressing specific client needs.

  • Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • \n
  • Provide referrals to other specialists and resources when clients require additional support beyond therapeutic services.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with mental health trends and best practices.

  • Document client interactions and treatment plans accurately in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will address a diverse range of mental health issues affecting our client population, including but not limited to:

  • Challenges relating to physical and psychological abuse

  • Grief and loss
  • \n
  • Family conflicts, including sibling issues and parental separations

  • Adjustment to divorce and remarriage, particularly in blended family contexts

  • Job-related stress and medical issues impacting mental health

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid, active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
