Ampersand Therapy is hiring full-time and long-term coverage Speech Language Pathologists for a school setting in Vernon Hills, IL. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by administering evaluations, developing and implementing therapy plans, providing speech and language services, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teams to support student outcomes.Why Join UsCompetitive pay (Up to $65/hour) + steady school-year scheduleW-2 employment with liability insurance includedHealthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company matchReimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses (up to $500)Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses (up to $3,000)What You’ll DoProvide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to assigned studentsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEP goalsMonitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and dataCollaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication and learningParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to service recommendationsMaintain compliant and confidential student records in accordance with regulationsSupport a range of student communication needs across school settingsPerform additional duties as assigned to support student successWhat We’re Looking ForValid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School SLP endorsementValid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation SLP license Master's Degree from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university in Speech Language Therapy Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsSchool-based experience preferred, not requiredAbout Ampersand TherapyAmpersand Therapy is a women and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
