Construction Controller

We're partnering with a well-established construction company seeking an experienced Construction Controller to lead the accounting function and provide financial oversight for multiple construction projects. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who understands the unique complexities of construction accounting and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. This is a 100% in‑office position. Remote or hybrid work is not available. What You'll Do Oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and month‑end close Manage and analyze Work in Progress (WIP) schedules Prepare and review job cost reporting, project profitability, and financial statements Ensure accurate revenue recognition using percentage‑of‑completion accounting Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions Partner with operations and project management to improve financial performance Maintain internal controls and support year‑end audits What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of recent construction accounting experience Strong experience managing WIP (Work in Progress) reporting Hands‑on Sage ERP experience is required Thorough understanding of job costing and construction financial reporting Experience leading accounting functions in a construction environment Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Why This Opportunity?
