Class A CDL Driver

This full-time Class A CDL Driver role operates Monday through Friday with a 7:00 a.m. start time, hauling fence and construction materials on a flatbed trailer to customer locations and jobsites within a regional territory. The position does not require overnight stays or special endorsements, and when not driving, you support yard and warehouse operations to keep materials flowing efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and in full compliance with DOT regulations.
• Transport fence and construction materials by flatbed trailer to customer doors and jobsites within the assigned territory.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck and trailer, reporting any issues promptly.
• Secure loads properly on the flatbed to ensure safe transport and protect materials from damage.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining on-time deliveries.
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers at delivery locations.
• Assist yard and warehouse staff with loading and unloading materials when not on delivery routes.
• Operate forklifts and skid steers, as needed, to move, load, and organize materials in the yard and warehouse.
• Support general warehouse operations, including staging orders and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies while driving and working in the yard or warehouse.

Essential Skills

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Ability to safely operate a flatbed truck and comply with all DOT regulations.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to load, secure, and unload fence and construction materials safely.
• Capability to assist with warehouse operations when not driving, including material handling and order staging.
• Strong focus on safety, reliability, and on-time performance.
• Ability to work a Monday through Friday schedule with a 7:00 a.m. start time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Skid steer experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse or yard operations is beneficial.
• Comfort working in a physically active role, including climbing on and off flatbeds and handling materials.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

Work Environment

The driving territory covers approximately a three-hour radius of Fargo, allowing you to return home daily with no overnight travel. You work both on the road and in a yard/warehouse setting, regularly moving between the truck, loading areas, and customer sites. The role involves working around forklifts, skid steers, and flatbed trailers, handling outdoor conditions at jobsites and in the yard, as well as indoor warehouse activities during loading, unloading, and material handling. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 7:00 a.m. start time, providing a consistent daytime work routine.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
