Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Real Estate Agent role based in Susanville, CA, with some flexibility to work from home. The Real Estate Agent will represent buyers, sellers, and investors in residential and commercial transactions, from initial consultation through closing. Daily activities include prospecting for new clients, conducting property showings, preparing and presenting offers, negotiating terms, and coordinating inspections, appraisals, and other transaction milestones. The role also involves maintaining accurate listing information, preparing comparative market analyses, and staying current on local market trends, regulations, and inventory. The agent will provide responsive client support, collaborate with internal team members and external partners (such as lenders, inspectors, and contractors), and uphold Horizon Realty’s standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. Qualifications Active Real Estate License in the state of California, with a solid understanding of Real Property laws and regulations. Demonstrated Real Estate knowledge, including residential and/or commercial transactions, local market trends, and property valuation. Proven Sales skills, including prospecting, lead follow-up, negotiation, and closing transactions. Strong Customer Service abilities, with a focus on clear communication, responsiveness, and relationship building. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time between in-person activities in Susanville, CA and remote tasks. Comfort with basic real estate technology tools and platforms (CRM systems, MLS, virtual tour tools, and digital document signing). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple clients and transactions simultaneously. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally for showings, meetings, and inspections.
