Job Description

This role is responsible for assembling tools and components, applying wrapping to support the production flow, and ensuring all assemblies meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on assembly experience, and the ability to read and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

·         Assemble and prepare tools, sockets, bits and other components with appropriate wrapping for production needs.

·         Move products through the production flow: wrapping → coating application → teardown → shipping .

·         Receive components back from coating for teardown and reassembly as required.

·         Inspect assemblies and coated products to ensure consistency, durability, and quality standards.

·         Accurately clock into jobs for production tracking for wrapping and teardown activities.

·         Collaborate with peers and management to improve RSP processes within the department.

·         Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, 5S-compliant work environment.

·         Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or tool-related work preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and small components.

• Ability to read and follow written procedures, instructions, and basic technical drawings.

• Good attention to detail, quality-focused, and able to spot inconsistencies or defects.

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer skills for clocking into jobs for production tracking.
