Responsibilities Come Join Our Team! Registered Dietitian. Per Diem position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and Director of Nutritional Services, the clinical dietitian is responsible for providing daily in‑patient nutritional care through screening, assessment of patients, and nutrition consultation, as well as carrying out nutrition education for in and outpatients of this community. Other duties may include but are not limited to policy and procedure development; in‑service/competency education development for staff; daily supervision of diet office staff and functions; support department performance improvement plan; attending routine meetings and or interdisciplinary rounds, as requested by supervisor. The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 238‑bed community hospital network comprised of a 160‑bed acute care hospital and a 78‑bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Bachelor degree in Dietetics or related field required. Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required. Previous experience preferred. Registered Dietitian with the commission on dietetic registration or registry eligible as a registered dietitian (must pass exam within 3 months of hire).
