Tandem Physical Therapy is looking to add a massage therapist to our growing practice in order to help our patients and clients achieve their goals of living healthy and active lives for years to come.

About Tandem Physical Therapy:

Tandem Physical Therapy is a locally owned physical therapy clinic in Metairie, Louisiana specializing in serving adults in their 40's, 50's and 60's and has a strong wellness program which includes flexibility classes, private Pilates lessons, virtual programs and massage therapy. Our owners, Lauren and Christy are both physical therapists and long-time friends. Together, they opened Tandem PT in June 2018 and have seen consistent growth ever since. Tandem PT believes in providing exceptional care and customer service to the people in our community so they can stay active and healthy throughout their life.

We have a unique model that allows us to deeply understand our patients and the problems they need solved. This has allowed us to develop meaningful relationships and grow our practice largely through return patients, their friends and family.

The Role:

Your primary role will be to provide our patients and clients with exceptional service via massage therapy and customer experience. This will include providing comprehensive and dependable communication to necessary members of staff involved with the client as well as with the client themselves.

Our goal is to build life long relationships with our clients. As part of this, your job will be to help us grow the revenue of the company by booking repeat appointments, building rapport with clientele, and excel at retaining these clients as lifelong customers of Tandem PT. You will do this by delivering the type of customer experience that clients will be happy to pay for and equally happy to tell others about.

This position is ideal for a seasoned massage therapist who is well-versed in providing care for clients with orthopedic conditions while providing a 5 star customer experience.

The Tasks:

• Provide exceptional massage therapy services
• Communicate the value of our services including additional services such as physical therapy, Pilates, wellness and virtual services.
• Provide a professional representation of Tandem PT
• Consistent, dependable, and thorough communication to the client and all staff involved in the client's case
• Set up and dismantle a professional, relaxing, caring environment wherever you render services

Skills Needed:

• Active Massage Therapy Licensure in the state of Louisiana
• Be able to complete documentation following each session
• People first personality where all of our clients feel welcomed, cared for and remembered
• Modify massage sessions for each client considering their history and goals
• Maintain professionalism including client confidentiality
• Be willing and excited to work as part of a team to help people achieve their wellness goals
