CNC Mill Machinist – Aerospace (3rd Shift)

Location: Metro Detroit, MI (Warren area)

Pay: $25–$30/hour + 17% shift differential

Schedule: Sunday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer in the Metro Detroit area to identify experienced CNC Mill Machinists for 3rd shift opportunities. This role supports the production of large, high-precision components for both commercial and military aerospace programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling and/or turning machines

• Run multiple machines simultaneously within machining cells when applicable

• Machine large parts ranging from approximately 30” to 70” in diameter

• Work with hard metals including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and operation sheets

• Utilize Fanuc controls and perform offsets as required

• Load/unload parts and fixtures using hoists and lifting equipment

• Read and interpret CNC programs at the machine

• Set up tooling based on tool sheets and job requirements

• Perform inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)

• Maintain tight tolerances in high-precision machining environments

• Support additional machining and production tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred)

• Experience operating multi-axis CNC milling machines

• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

• Experience with Fanuc controls and machine offsets

• Ability to read and interpret CNC programs at the machine

• Experience using precision measuring instruments

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and accessing machine platforms

• Willingness to work overtime as needed
