Want to Join our Team? Beansprouts is currently hiring for Summer 2026! Beansprouts Day Camp has been offering children in Preschool through 5th grade fun in the summer since 1980! At Beansprouts, we have a full program of activities ranging from outdoor sports, indoor games, electives, arts & crafts, water play, theme weeks, as well as weekly swimming and field trips for our oldest children. At Beansprouts Day Camp, we foster a nurturing and safe environment for children by hiring team members who are devoted to making their campers’ summer extraordinary. We know our counselors are the key ingredient to a successful summer and happy campers. As counselors at Beansprouts’ Day Camp, it will be your job to create a fun and safe space for campers to spend their summer. Camp Groups: Upper Camp: Upper Camp is for our oldest children that are rising 1st grade - 5th grade students Upper Camp provides a fun, fast-paced environment for our children to make friends, have fun experiences, and make great summer memories Campers swim twice a week at Brooklyn College and go on weekly field trips including trips to Urban Air, Luna Park, museums, and more! Upper Camp provides fun activities including soccer, spirit weeks, and visits from our ice cream truck After Camp: After Camp is our aftercare option for families enrolled in all of our camp programs held from 3-6pm After Camp is the perfect time for our campers to wind down their camp day in a structured environment while still continuing the summer fun Beansprouts is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements Must be able to work the entire camp session: Upper Camp – 6/22-8/21 After Camp – 6/15-8/21 Note that your final scheduled work dates may not cover the entire summer, depending on availability Must be available to work the full camp day (8-4, 9-5 or 10-6) or after camp hours (3-6). Must be at least 17 years old prior to the start of camp Must have at least one year (or equivalent) of experience working with children. Must have a high school diploma or equivalency; or be enrolled in a college program. Should possess strong communication skills; be positive, patient, and reliable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
