CALYPSO BAND MUSICIAN Miami, FL The Caribbean Band Musician is a professional musician, instrumentalist and/or vocalist, part of the Caribbean Band. The performer must be able to play and/or sing genres including but not limited to calypso, reggae, soca, and classic top 40. Responsibilities: Perform musical selections to audience engagement and entertainment requirements set by the cruise line’s entertainment schedule. Maintain a professional image and sound quality in all performances. Collaborate with band members, arrangers, and production staff to rehearse and deliver high‑quality performances. Adhere to dress code, branding, and safety guidelines for all on-board events. Participate in workshops and training sessions to improve musicianship and versatility. Qualifications and Requirements: Proficient instrumentalist or vocalist with performance experience in one or more of the listed genres. Strong stage presence and the ability to engage a diverse cruise‑ship audience. Good communication skills and a professional, punctual, and collaborative demeanor. Proven ability to adapt to changing performance schedules and genres. Valid work eligibility in the United States (citizen, permanent resident, or authorized work status). Working Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week, typically 8 hours a day for 5 days. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
