TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30322!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Location

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM) | 36 hours per week | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
• Manage patients requiring high-frequency ventilators and oscillators
• Monitor and manage intracranial pressure (ICP) in applicable patient populations
• Assess, document, and respond to changes in patient condition throughout the post-operative recovery phase
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient transitions out of the PACU

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of PACU experience within the past 3 years
• Experience with high-frequency ventilators and oscillators
• Experience with intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring and management
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity or Level I trauma PACU environment
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in a fast-paced post-operative setting
