Nest56 Case Manager

$27.5 per hour

TGTHR to end youth homelessness

Position Summary Job type: Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt. Paid hourly with overtime eligibility per Colorado state law. Salary: $27.50/hour. Location: Denver, CO. Reports to: Nest56 Program Manager. No direct supervisees. Application deadline: June 16, 2026. The Case Manager helps tenants of 2700 Wewatta secure safe, stable housing, employment, and education. This role guides tenants toward empowerment, community connectedness, self‑sufficiency, and independence. May include part‑time front desk duties ensuring secure building access, tenant rapport, and crisis intervention. About Nest56 Nest56 is a 56‑unit supportive housing complex for young people aged 18‑24. TGTHR is the contracted service provider, offering employment and education assistance, counseling, skill development, wellness support, housing navigation post‑tenancy, and group activities. Primary Responsibilities Direct Case Management Manage a dedicated caseload of up to 28 tenants, building trusting relationships and fostering independent living and community building. Assess tenants’ needs, develop and document individualized case plans, make referrals, and ensure consistent follow‑through. Provide tailored support based on issues identified in assessments. Monitor progress quarterly, track tenant progress toward self‑sufficiency via surveys and data. Drive and accompany tenants to appointments as needed. Housing Transition & Life Skills Support Assist tenants with basic needs, personal finance management, pro‑social skills, and essential life skills to maintain stable housing. Facilitate resident groups focused on life skills development and community engagement. Partner with tenants to develop a housing transition plan toward self‑sufficient housing. Advocate to leasing agencies on behalf of tenants receiving housing vouchers or other assistance. Administrative & Compliance Complete all documentation accurately and timely using Salesforce, HMIS, and paper files. Be available for team and tenant meetings as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by Housing Programs Manager. Culture & Values Commit to building a culture of mutual accountability, liberation, and respect, adhering to TGTHR’s core values. Requirements Position Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field. Experience: 2–4 years working with vulnerable, at‑risk, or unhoused young people in shelters, transitional, or housing programs. Note: Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Core Competencies & Skills Crisis Management & Adaptability Autonomy & Collaboration Relationship Building Communication Social Justice Commitment Technical & Administrative Skills Proficiency in G‑Suite, Microsoft Office; Salesforce preferred. Local knowledge of Denver community resources, HUD, city housing regulations. Spanish proficiency highly preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to sit, type, and perform administrative tasks for extended periods. Ability to lift minimum 30 lbs, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and participate in strenuous cleaning activities. Compensation And Benefits Salary: $27.50/hour.
