Role
Field-based Rare Disease Business Leader focusing on PROS (PIK3CA-Related Overgrowth Spectrum), responsible for executing strategic account plans and expanding product utilization within complex healthcare accounts. Responsibilities include engaging Medical Experts and healthcare professionals, promoting disease and product awareness, and supporting patient identification and care initiatives through face-to-face, virtual, and digital channels.
Responsibilities
Develops tailored business strategies aligned with Novartis' commercial goals, collaborates cross-functionally to ensure consistent customer experiences, and leverages digital tools for stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree; 7+ years in healthcare, pharma, or biotech with expertise in key account management, sales, or marketing; 3+ years managing large, complex accounts like academic centers or hospitals; proficiency in digital engagement and therapeutic area knowledge, particularly in rare diseases.
Travel and Logistics
The role demands extensive travel (60-80%), a valid driver’s license, and residence within the assigned territory or adjacent areas.
Preferred
prior experience with multispecialty account engagement. High-value biopharma specifics include focus on rare genetic disorders, multidisciplinary account management, and disease education within complex academic and healthcare systems, emphasizing strategic stakeholder relationships and digital engagement in a remote/field setting.
