Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Rehab PTA to join our team at St. Johnsbury Center for Living and Rehabilitation, a premier residential, long-term, rehabilitation, and subacute care provider. About the Role

As Director of Rehab PTA, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of physical therapy programs and services. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless integration of Physical Therapy services with other departments, including Nursing, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in promoting positive outcomes, improving patient satisfaction, and increasing revenue through efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate Physical Therapy programs and services to meet the needs of our patients and achieve desired outcomes

• Lead and manage a team of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and other staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations

• Collaborate with the medical director and other department heads to develop and implement patient care plans and ensure effective communication among departments

• Conduct quality assurance and performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Participate in budget development, resource allocation, and strategic planning to ensure the success of our rehabilitation programs

• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork, communication, and professional development among staff members

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited institution

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Vermont

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role in a rehabilitation setting

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
