Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Unit Support Coordinator for our Mother Baby Team who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Unit Support Coordinator, you will: • Supports departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and by performing clerical and other support services as directed. • Responsible for processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties. Qualifications include: • High school diploma / GED • At least 1 year experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office. • Basic knowledge of medical terminology required. • Proficient in PC, Internet and email required. • Strong communication and organizational skills • Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred. Work Schedule: Employment Type: Variable Part-time Hours per Week: Two 12 hour day shifts 7am-7pm per month Shift Type: Day Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar Shift Differential Eligible: Yes Pay Range: $18.80 - $24.18 If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
