Field Operations Manager

Reports To: Vice President of Operations

About the Role

The Field Operations Manager is responsible for leading field operations within their assigned area, ensuring our teams consistently deliver a high level of service to our hospital partners.

This is a hands-on manager role with responsibility for people, service delivery, operational performance, inventory, fleet and assets, safety, compliance, and financial results . The Field Operations Manager leads and develops their team while ensuring Kreg’s operational standards and KPIs are consistently achieved.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who thrives in a service-driven environment and can balance day-to-day execution with continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service Excellence

• Lead day-to-day field operations to consistently deliver a high level of service to our customers.
• Drive achievement of operational KPIs, service standards, and financial objectives.
• Identify, develop, and implement processes that improve efficiency, service quality, and operational performance.
• Partner closely with Customer Service to ensure effective coordination and execution of customer needs.
• Maintain operational readiness within a 24/7 service environment.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports while establishing clear expectations and accountability.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, recognition, and corrective action.
• Ensure required operational training is completed and training compliance is maintained.
• Build a strong team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, growth, and results.

Inventory, Fleet & Asset Management

• Oversee product inventory and company assets to ensure availability, accuracy, and appropriate utilization.
• Ensure Kreg equipment, vehicles, and operational resources are properly maintained and effectively deployed.
• Maintain accountability for company assets and operational resources within the assigned area.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment focused on preventing accidents and injuries.
• Ensure adherence to applicable quality, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Monitor operational compliance, including applicable OSHA, FDA, DOT, training, and safety requirements.
• Reinforce company procedures and standards through consistent leadership and follow-through.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Serve as a operational partner to business functions.
• Collaborate with business partners to resolve issues and support company-wide priorities.
• Lead and support operational change and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience strongly preferred .
• Previous experience within healthcare services, medical equipment, logistics, field service, or a related industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience leading employees and managing performance.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
• Comfortable managing changing priorities and situations with ambiguity.
• Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-through.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet applicable company driving requirements.
• Availability to support operations within a 24/7 service environment .
• Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements.

Physical & Work Environment

This is an operational manager role that may require hands-on support in the field. Responsibilities may include:

• Pushing & Pulling medical equipment weighing up to 1000 pounds.
• Loading and unloading company box trucks.
• Driving company vehicles as required.
• Moving and handling large medical beds.
• Working within hospital and healthcare environments, including areas supporting medically complex patients.
• Traveling within the assigned area and periodically overnight based on business needs.
