Production Floater

Location:  Waco, TX Area

Job Type:  Full-Time

Openings: 4

Pay: $18.00/hr

Schedule:  This position works four 12-hour shifts per week from 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with one scheduled weekday off each week. The assigned day off will remain the same from week to week.

Job Overview

Crouch Staffing Solutions is seeking Production Floaters for a local manufacturing company in the Waco, TX area. This position is ideal for someone who is flexible, dependable, and willing to learn multiple areas of the production process.

Production Floaters will be trained to assist in different departments throughout the plant and will help support production needs wherever needed. This may include working in multiple areas during the same day or week depending on staffing, production flow, call-ins, PTO coverage, or department needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and work in various production departments throughout the facility.
• Assist with general production tasks, material handling, machine support, loading/unloading, sanding, quality checks, housekeeping, and other plant operations as needed.
• Support product flow by recognizing areas that may be falling behind and assisting as directed.
• Help cover open positions due to call-ins, PTO, or production needs.
• Assist department leads and supervisors with onboarding or training new employees as needed.
• Perform visual inspections and help ensure finished products meet quality standards.
• Communicate positively and professionally with supervisors, leads, and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, production procedures, and quality expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Prior production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be flexible and willing to learn multiple departments and job duties.
• Ability to multitask and move between different areas of the plant as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and product quality.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift and stand/walk for long periods.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
