Title Program Manager Intern Employee Classification Intern Campus University of North Texas - Dallas Location Dallas Department DAL-Student Leadership & Success-521250 Salary $13.00/hr FTE 0.48 Retirement Eligibility Not Retirement Eligible Position Overview Program Manager intern position is an entry‑level position that supports program and event planning, marketing, and data analysis and reporting for the SLS department. Department Summary The Student Leadership and Success Department supports first‑generation and high achieving college students to meet academic, career, and personal goals through resource, skills development, mentorship, and community building. Qualifications Pursuing a bachelor's degree with relevant majors. Demonstrated knowledge of program planning and evaluation best practices. Experience in event and workshop planning strategies. Knowledge of sponsorship and fundraising best practices. Strong presentation, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to collect and analyze program data to establish annual goals and objectives. Effective communication skills with diverse populations verbally and in writing. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work independently. Job Duties Participate in off‑campus and on‑campus events supporting the SLS department. Develop vision, plans, marketing strategies, and budgets to implement successful programs, workshops, and events. Collect, maintain, and utilize assessment data to evaluate and enhance program planning. Recruit, coordinate with, and evaluate the work of workshop facilitators and speakers. Collaborate with UNT Dallas and program counterparts to ensure effective program implementation. Physical Requirements Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Move within confined spaces to perform tasks. Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another. Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds. Communicating with others to exchange information. Environmental Hazards No adverse environmental conditions expected. Work Schedule Monday–Friday, some Saturdays. 9‑1 pm or 1‑5 pm.
