Clinical Pharmacist

Relocation Assistance Available, Monday-Friday & 40-hour work week Job Summary Clinical Pharmacist will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including dispensing medications, reviewing patient profiles for safety and accuracy, counseling patients, and collaborating with providers to resolve discrepancies. Oversee medication compounding, ensure quality control of pharmacy operations, and maintain inventory management and regulatory compliance, including controlled substance security. Required Qualifications Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D). Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE). Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS). License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist. Experience: One year of professional pharmacy experience after graduation. U.S. Citizenship is required. Key Responsibilities Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures. Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services within the personnel, supply, and equipment capabilities of the facility. Counsel patients regarding appropriate use of medications. Review patient profiles at the time of dispensing to closely monitor medication therapy and ensure prescription directions for use, dose, medication interactions, therapeutic duplications or overlaps, allergy information, age‑specific dosage, and other pertinent data are appropriate for individual patients. Intervention with providers shall be made for noted discrepancies. Compound medications as required. Ensure accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by technical staff. Supervise inventory control of all pharmaceuticals in the pharmacy, especially scheduled pharmaceuticals, and ensure pharmacy security. Maintain appropriate records and security of all scheduled controlled substances according to applicable regulations. Work Environment & Schedule Onsite, Monday to Friday, 8‑hour shift between 7:00am - 5:00pm. (Flexibility with schedule is authorized with prior coordination). Physical Requirements Requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 20–30 pounds, and perform precise manual tasks such as compounding and handling medications. Must have strong visual acuity, dexterity, and stamina to review patient information, use electronic systems, and function effectively in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
