Job Summary:
TechSource, a Salas O'Brien Company, is hiring a full-time Senior HVAC Engineer to
serve as the technical subject matter expert to identify candidates and work
scope for future business growth. conduct construction document reviews and
work on large-scale projects from planning to execution phases supporting
Department of Energy (DOE) facilities.

Responsibilities:
* Identify candidates and work scope for large HVAC projects at two Department of Energy facilities.
* Provide HVAC technical direction to engineers.
* Plan, organize, and coordinate process/engineering team/design projects
from inception to project startup.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
* 7 or more years of HVAC engineering experience in nuclear facilities, including project management experience.
* US citizenship is required.
* Working knowledge of federal (including DOE Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to HVAC design and systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Active DOE Q or Top Secret security clearance.
* DOE/NNSA work experience or knowledge.

Location: Hybrid work arrangement in Aiken, SC or Knoxville, TN, depending on
your location.

Compensation & Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this role is $180,000- $230,000 USD per year.
Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including
skills, experience, qualifications, and location.

Qualifications

Education Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering (required)
Experience 7 years: 7 or more years of HVAC engineering experience in nuclear facilities, including project management experience. (required)
DOE/NNSA work experience or knowledge. (preferred)
Active DOE Q or Top Secret security clearance. (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications Security Clearance (preferred)
