Location: Float position between our clinic locations (Center, Chippewa, Ellwood, Aliquippa, Robinson, Edgeworth) prn based on staffing with ability to pick days that are convenient for YOU. Work Hours: In this premium role, you are required to work a minimum of 3 full 12 hour weekday shifts per month, plus one full weekend (Sat/Sun - 8 hrs) per month; AND one holiday per year. Hourly wage while working on a holiday will be time & a half. Employee will be considered in a Casual status in a non-exempt position with no guaranteed hours of work. The Medical Assistant provides selective medical services including standard medical assistant responsibilities as well as specialized testing under the direction of Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners and Physician, to coordinate medical service needs of the patients served. Required High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of at least 6 months of a formal nursing program, formal Medical Assistant education or EMS/Paramedic training. CPR certification. Minimum of one year recent medical assisting experience. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Associate degree program; Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, or NCCT NCMA); Previous medical assisting experience in a retail setting highly preffered; Computer experience.
