Classroom Assistant
$15.41 - $16.95 per hourWisconsin Head Start Association
Work site: Children\'s Discovery Center - Stevens Point Start Date: August 5, 2026 Starting Pay: $15.41-$16.95per hour, depending on experience Status: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week Benefits: Paid time off, holidays, 401K (6% match), life insurance, access to health, dental, vision and disability insurance. Duties: Assist the teacher in preparing and conducting classroom activities which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program's philosophy and Creative Curriculum. Minimum Qualifications: -If you do not meet the minimum qualifications, on the job training may be provided. Completion of high school or equivalent. Completion of two courses in Early Childhood Education through an institute of higher education. Six months' related work experience working in Early Childhood. Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation w/AED (CPR) within 2 months of hire.
