RN - NICU

NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

We are seeking a skilled NICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients in the NICU. The RN will attend high-risk deliveries and perform infant resuscitation as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Utilize advanced NICU skills including respiratory support, feeding, and thermoregulation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license (Compact license required).
• Certification in BLS and NRP.
• Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience with explicit proficiency in critical care procedures.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• Ability to respond to and manage high-risk deliveries.
• Knowledge of patient/family teaching techniques.
