Job Summary We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC/CPNP-AC) for a locum tenens hospitalist position in Monroe, NC. This is an inpatient nocturnist role with 14-hour night shifts. The provider will manage an average of 6.5 patients per shift in a non-ICU, no-procedures setting using the EPIC EMR system. Position Details Role: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Hospitalist (Nocturnist) Setting: Inpatient pediatric hospitalist (no ICU, no procedures, no clinic) Shift Structure: 14-hour night shifts (5p – 7a) Patient Load: Average 6.5 patients per shift EMR: EPIC Start: ASAP – ongoing locum tenens contract Licensing: Active North Carolina license required (Only NC-licensed applicants considered) Providers: One provider requested; site will consider all availability Qualifications Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification (PNP-AC or CPNP-AC) and experience Active North Carolina license Hospitalist or inpatient pediatric experience preferred Comfortable working independently in a nocturnist role BLS/ACLS About Monroe, NC Monroe is a growing city in Union County with a population of approximately 36,000–40,000.
