About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – NICU/PEDS Transport

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a NICU setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform helicopter and ambulance transport of neonatal and pediatric patients
• Utilize Cerner electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
• Adhere to unit protocols within a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma facility
• Participate in weekend rotations as required per scheduling guidelines
• Float within the hospital as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or valid compact license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU and/or pediatric transport nursing experience
• Helicopter and ambulance transport experience required
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify
• Must be able to pass a facility EKG exam (up to 3 attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Cerner charting system
• Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital environment
