3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor Philadelphia, PA | Direct Hire BlackRock Resources is seeking a 3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor to join a leading food manufacturing operation in the Philadelphia area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with food manufacturing and sanitation experience who is passionate about food safety, team development, and operational excellence. - Lead, train, and supervise sanitation team members on 3rd shift
- Ensure the facility meets all sanitation, food safety, and regulatory requirements
- Execute sanitation schedules and maintain compliance with SSOPs
- Manage and update the Master Sanitation Schedule
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability
- Partner with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to support plant objectives
- Train and develop both new and experienced employees
- Monitor sanitation effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, GMP, and food safety standards
- Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
- Experience in food manufacturing and food safety programs
- Working knowledge of FDA, USDA, and food plant operations
- Experience with sanitation processes and pest control programs in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring PPE and exposure to noise
- Comfortable working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks when needed
