Position Jr. DevOps Engineer – Columbia, MD (Hybrid) – Full‑time, entry‑level. Responsibilities This role supports a U.S. Government customer and sustains critical mission‑related software and systems. The engineer will work independently and collaboratively within a team of experienced engineers, assisting with deployment pipelines, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and continuous integration and delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or five years of relevant experience without a degree. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and collaboratively. Key Skills Kubernetes, Docker, Docker‑compose, Helm, Git, GitLab, GitLab Runners, Rancher, Linux command line tools. Desired Skills Experience with Dockerized micro‑service architecture. AWS tools such as CloudFormation, EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, and DynamoDB. Clearance Requirements U.S. citizenship and an active or reinstatable TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
