The role involves supporting emergent and non-emergent cardiac, thoracic, and transplant procedures, primarily working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This position requires scrub and circulate experience to ensure optimal patient care and surgical outcomes. Job Details Certifications: BLS, ACLS. Education: BSN preferred. Location Requirements: Must have a valid license in hand at the time of submission if applicable; no local candidates accepted within 75 miles. Years of Experience: 2 years required; will consider 1 year if experience is in a Level 1 trauma facility. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, days shift. Responsibilities include supporting cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases, including transplants, Whipple procedures, and other open and endovascular surgeries. Must have scrub and circulating experience. The candidate may be required to float within the service line as needed. On-call duties are required, with shifts varying based on unit needs; scheduled weekday, weeknight, and weekend call shifts. Pending license acceptance is required at the time of submittal. Candidate must have sufficient level 1 trauma experience for consideration. The position involves entering missing instruments into the CensiTrac system and supporting emergent cases with rapid response times.
