Senior Manager, Production Control

Location: Andover, MA Employment type: Onsite Responsibilities Managing a high‑visibility area with multiple production control professionals reporting into this position. Conducting material availability analysis, tracking, and reporting. Managing kit readiness in collaboration with BOM, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control. Releasing production orders in the MRP system and confirming them in the shop floor system. Coordinating the kitting process across multiple stores and consolidation areas. Providing production floor support, including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, work‑in‑progress movement, completion of units, and delivery to the next step. Controlling the physical disposition of nonconforming or specially handled material, including Return to Vendor, purged material, WIP STOP per contractual restrictions, and configuration of components/sub‑assemblies. Maintaining the integrity of the shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems through key performance metrics. Processing piece‑part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors, internal shared resources, and Raytheon Technologies facilities. Required Qualifications University degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience. Experience in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or project management. Experience with MRP and/or Special Program Access applications. Experience leading daily team operations and comparable leadership experience. Ability to obtain an interim Confidential U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment with a focus on managing collective bargaining workforces. Experience with Special Program Access and other business systems, including shop floor data systems. Experience in Six Sigma, CORE, Lean Manufacturing processes, diagnostics, and continuous improvement. Experience supporting cross‑functional teams. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD.
