The Mental Health Technician provides personal care services and general therapeutic procedures to hospitalized patients in Psychiatry under the direction of a Registered Nurse or designated licensed staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Psychology with a Nursing Assistant Registered license Or 2 years experience as a Mental Health Technician, Nursing Assistant in Psychiatric Services, Emergency Services or long-term care.
• Upon hire: Nursing Assistant Certification

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
