The Brickette Lounge is a Texas style BBQ restaurant. Part of the 3 West Hospitality group, located in the borough of West Chester, PA, we are looking for a motivated individual who is dedicated, energetic, and excited to learn and grow. We provide a workspace that promotes teamwork, organization, and a drive to provide exceptional food with a positive and professional attitude. We encourage collaboration and creativity. Our kitchen is open 7 days a week serving from 11 am until we run out. This is not a line cook position. Complete all tasks on the daily prep list, and help others to do the same. Communicate orders, prep, and counts to the Pit Master. Break down stations at end of shift. Ensure food safety standards and regulations are upheld at all times. Position Requirements Applicants must have weekend availability. Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team environment. Must be reliable, organized, efficient, courteous and professional. Able to work with and lift at least 50 lbs. Strong work ethic. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Must be flexible with work schedules. Other Beneficial Skills Experience and Training in a Professional Restaurant Kitchen (+6 Months). Basic Knife Skills. Critical and preemptive thinking.
