Radiation Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Days | 3 days per week | No on-call

Munson Healthcare is seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE) Radiation Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Traverse City, Michigan! This position will be supporting our Munson Medical Center clinic.

Position Duties/Highlights Include: 

• Support departmental operations through management of a growing follow up clinic, inpatient consultations, urgent add on and referral visits outside standard physician scheduling, and patient inquiries related to imaging, post treatment symptoms, and care coordination 

• Work alongside skilled physicians, APPs, and dedicated support staff 

Standard

Qualifications

Education / Training:   

• Master's Degree in Nursing OR a Masters in Physician Assistant studies  

Work Experience:  

• Experience in Oncology is preferred but not required.  

Certification, Licensure, Registration:  

• State of Michigan Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license required  

• Required to achieve certification as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) within two years from hire date.
