About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified NICU RN in Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46801!

• Provide direct patient care in a 31-bed Level III NICU setting with a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Utilize EPIC for computer charting and Pyxis for medication administration
• May float to age-appropriate Pediatrics or PICU as needed
• Adhere to mandatory orientation requirements: Mon-Fri during week one and Mon-Tue during week two (8-hour days; attendance required for all 7 days )
• Follow facility dress code (Caribbean blue scrubs)

• Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience
• Current Indiana RN license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Comfort and experience floating to Pediatrics or PICU environments

• Opportunity to work in a high-acuity Level III NICU with a supportive patient ratio structure
• Gain experience in a dynamic environment that may include cross-training to age-appropriate Peds and PICU settings
