Summary Little Learners Child Development Center is hiring a Toddler Teacher in Hackensack, NJ We are seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to join our team, providing a nurturing and educational environment for young learners. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our future generation with age appropriate implementation, scaffolding learning and providing a safe and warm environment. Duties Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment for children Monitor and assess each child's progress and communicate effectively with parents Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members Maintain a clean and organized classroom conductive to learning Requirements Qualifications Previous Lead Teacher role is required or working with Toddlers aged 18 month to 36 months Knowledge of Creative Curriculum Ability to educate and engage young learners in a classroom setting Understanding of child well being and development best practices Experience in toddler care is required Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues Nice To Haves Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infants and Toddlers CPR and First Aid Certified A minimum of 3 years experience working with children ages 18 months to 36 months Worked in a Licensed by the State of New Jersey Child Care Center #J-18808-Ljbffr Child Care Resources Inc
