Qualifications / Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- At least one year of nursing experience, mental and behavioral preferred.
- Current RN License in the state of Nebraska.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) is required.

Summary:
- The RN in behavioral health is responsible for providing safe and effective care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Key duties include assessing patients' mental health needs, formulating and implementing nursing diagnoses, and evaluating individualized care plans.
- Using specialized knowledge and critical thinking, the RN develops personalized strategies, ensures patient safety, delegates tasks, and educates patients and families throughout their treatment.
