Work Environment

Your work will predominantly occur onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, which is designed to foster patient recovery and staff collaboration. The center features advanced rehabilitation technologies, well-equipped treatment rooms, and a welcoming ambiance conducive to healing. As a staff physical therapist, you will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM—allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and establish therapeutic objectives.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to ensure quality care and attention.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer effective and cost-efficient therapies that enhance patients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating an array of therapeutic techniques to address specific patient conditions.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs to guide patients towards holistic health improvements.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and adjust care methodologies accordingly.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to enhance patient care and ensure a seamless health management experience.
• Document all services provided accurately and maintain meticulous patient records using EMR software like WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a varied patient demographic, predominantly engaging with individuals suffering from orthopedic conditions. You will help patients of all ages recover from injuries or surgeries, guiding them through rehabilitation therapies, and enhancing their functional abilities. By emphasizing personalized treatment plans and fostering a motivational atmosphere, you will play an integral role in each patient's recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the design of exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR software systems, particularly WebPT, is highly beneficial.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of common orthopedic injuries and conditions.
• Previous experience in creating customized rehabilitation plans that focus on non-surgical interventions.
• Proven ability to motivate and educate patients through their recovery processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually , commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to prioritize your well-being. Benefits include:
