That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands‑on experience, or work toward a full‑time career with the industry leader. As a Security Officer - Campus Surveillance in Chandler, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeFri05:00 AM - 01:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies. Monitor access at the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify authorization as required, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response activities. Observe activity in the lobby and adjacent entry areas, report unusual conditions or concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access. Communicate professionally with bank personnel, customers, and emergency responders, and complete required reports and documentation. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
