Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary The Sanitation Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing sanitation operations within the manufacturing facility. This position ensures that all equipment, production areas, and facility environments meet company sanitation standards and regulatory requirements. The Sanitation Manager supervises sanitation staff and works closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to maintain a safe and clean manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities Manage dailysanitation operationsfor the entire manufacturing facility.Supervise, train, and schedulesanitation/janitorial employees.Develop and maintaincleaning and sanitation proceduresfor equipment, floors, drains, and production areas.Ensure compliance withcompany policies, safety regulations, and sanitation standards.Conduct regularfacility inspectionsto verify proper cleaning and sanitation.Maintain sanitation documentation includingcleaning logs, chemical usage records, and inspection reports.Coordinate sanitation activities withproduction and maintenance departmentsto minimize downtime.Monitor properuse, storage, and inventory of sanitation chemicals and supplies.Lead corrective actions for sanitation deficiencies.Supportinternal and external auditsand regulatory inspections.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).Experience inmanufacturing sanitation, industrial cleaning, or facility maintenance.Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.Knowledge ofworkplace safety practices and chemical handling.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.Ability to lift up to50 pounds.Ability to work inwet environments and around cleaning chemicals.Work Environment Manufacturing setting.May requireevening, overnight, or weekend workdepending on production schedules.Best Bev provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, and pregnancy-related conditions), gender identity or expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, genetic information, service in the military, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws and ordinances.
