Veterinary Technician Supervisor

VCA Ark Animal Hospital is looking to add a Certified Veterinary Technician to our leadership team as a Technician Supervisor.

You will work alongside our Medical Director and Hospital Manager to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently, and foster a winning environment. You will have the opportunity to build your leadership skills and have a clear career path.


In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing department policies and procedures.

• Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.

• Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.

• Interviewing, training and mentoring new and existing staff.

• Delivering employee performance feedback.

• Monitoring day-to-day activities and engaging with support staff.

Qualifications:

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or eligible to transfer state license (LVT, RVT, LVMT).

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 5 x 8 hour shifts.

Compensation : $26 - 28/hr and the pay range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
