Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU Level III or IV experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Washington state.

Details

• NICU setting at a Level 3 NICU facility with Level 2 Adult ICU capabilities
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend required per CBA
• Internal floating between departments required; all staff, including travelers, are expected to float between facilities within the state
• Staffing ratios follow the RT matrix
• Epic EMR required
• 13-week contract with a high probability of multi-contract extension

Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Washington state RRT license required in hand at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• NICU Level III or IV experience is a hard stop requirement
• Level 2 Adult ICU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this role
