• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each procedural step to ease anxieties
• Collaborate seamlessly with radiologists and referring physicians to assure high-quality diagnosis via imaging
• Operate and manage imaging equipment responsibly, ensuring functionality and reporting any issues promptly
• Document procedures accurately and maintain meticulous patient records within the electronic health system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound technologies and applicable best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
