Retail Sales Associate - Hardware Store

Location: Bishop, CA


Pay : $19-20.00 per hour


Schedule : 30 hours per week | 4 days per week

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Retail Sales Associate to join a local hardware store team in Bishop. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying active, and taking pride in keeping their work area clean and organized.

Responsibilities
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Assist customers in locating products and answering basic product questions
• Maintain assigned aisles and merchandise areas
• Keep assigned aisles clean, dusted, organized, and presentable
• Stock and straighten merchandise throughout the shift
• Make sure products are properly placed and easy for customers to locate
• Assist with general store upkeep as needed
• Work as part of the team to provide a positive shopping experience
• Follow store procedures and safety guidelines

Qualifications
• Previous retail, hardware, customer service, or sales experience is helpful but not required
• Friendly and comfortable assisting customers
• Dependable with good attendance
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Able to stay productive and take ownership of assigned areas
• Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout the store during the shift
• Willing to learn about hardware products and store merchandise

Position Details

This position offers 30 hours per week over 4 days, providing a consistent schedule with three days off each week. Pay is $19- $20.00 per hour.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys interacting with customers, and can independently maintain their assigned areas while being a strong member of the store team.
