Pima Medical Institute is seeking a dedicated Clinical Dentist to support our Dental Hygiene Program in Albuquerque. In this vital role, you will provide essential dental services while collaborating with students, instructors, and clinical staff in a dynamic educational environment. Clinical Dentist Location: Albuquerque, NM | On-Campus | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available Pay: $48.01 – $62.41 / hour (Based on experience) Your Mission: Clinical Excellence & Student Mentorship Key Responsibilities Clinical Oversight: Provide comprehensive dental services within the dental hygiene clinic and supervise care during medical emergencies. Mentorship: Supervise, evaluate, and mentor student dental hygienists and dental assistant externs in clinical practice. Diagnostics: Prescribe and oversee radiographic and other diagnostic services per New Mexico State Board regulations. Instruction: Provide didactic and/or laboratory instruction as assigned by the Program Director. Collaboration: Support clinic operations and participate in clinical meetings and in‑service training. Minimum Qualifications Education: DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution. Licensure: Active, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of New Mexico. Experience: 3+ years of clinical experience is preferred. Leadership: Prior experience in a clinical teaching, supervisory, or mentoring role is highly desirable. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; proficiency with computer applications. Benefits & Compensation Pay Range: $48.01 – $62.41 per hour.
